Christmas Throughout The House
Well hello Everyone! Not to freak you out but Christmas is right around the corner!!! Not worried? It’s just me? Okay then…
I’m really not that worried. Somehow everything gets pulled off when it gets down to crunch time. I mean sure there’s parties and work stuff and shopping and baking and decorating and then throw a whopping big cold on top of that and a random snowstorm and well…it will all get done…right?
One thing that I’m happy about is that I got my decorating done for the season. I went with a woodland theme in my living room using copper, gold, silver and vintage brass. If you didn’t see that, you can catch it here. As for the rest of my house, I kept with the woodland theme but added touches of red and green and some fun vintage finds.
Seasonal fruit and my collection of vintage thermoses add a touch of color. I love the plaid!
Linen sacks and a tin sign hanging from a ladder adds a vintage flair.
Just around the corner from our kitchen is a little nook that holds a vintage scale with candles encircled with evergreen wreaths, a vintage clock and a little pine tree in an old copper tin sitting upon some vintage books.
Above that is an old mirror with a vintage looking sign and pine swag. A new find for this year is the vintage looking mail box that hangs to the right of the mirror.
Down the hallway is a vintage dresser with a lantern and a cloche that holds some vintage books and a birds nest on top.
Even our bathroom got a touch of Christmas added to it.
Outside our back door I propped a set of skis that I found at an estate sale and added some pine, magnolia leaves and berries to it.
And inside of a vintage cabinet I displayed a winter scene using cardboard houses, vintage cars and trucks and bottle brush trees.
Well, that’s a little peak inside our home for Christmas. I hope you enjoyed the little tour. I would love to see your decorations for the holidays. If you are a blogger or an Instagramer and posted about your home, please leave me a link in the comments so I can swing by and say hello.
As always…thank you so much for stopping by! It means the world to me!
Love,
