Fall Home Tour (Part 1)

It’s here! It’s here! Fall is finally here! Well, at least according to the calendar. Maybe not so much according to the weather but we’ll get there soon enough.

I’ve finally gotten around to adding some fall touches to our home and thought I would share them with you.

I don’t decorate too much with Halloween type decor as much as I did when my kids were little but I definitely like adding fall touches to the house.

I love adding pumpkins and gourds here and there along with some fall leaves. I had a hard time this year deciding if I wanted to use traditional fall colors or more neutral colors so I used both! I’ll share the neutral look in my next post.

In my kitchen, I kept it a little more clean looking using white and golden yellow.

I also used my collection of vintage amber bottles! I love them this time of year!

I really like using natural elements like branches and logs to bring the outside in. It helped to have a tree fall from the hurricane. Free decor!!!

And of course I had to get some mums this year. They always add a nice pop of color when the rest of my flowers give up for the year!

The only thing left to do is add football games on the tv, light some yummy smelling candles, brew a pot of coffee and snuggle in.

Are you ready for fall? Is your weather cooperating? In my next post, I’ll be showing my softer side of fall so stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by friends! You’re the best!
