Happy Early Easter Friends! Are you all ready for a little celebrating? Easter marks the official start of spring to me. It seems that mother nature officially decides to make up her mind and flowers start popping. Of course I say that and we’ll get another snow fall. Hopefully not because I’m ready to start playing in the dirt and plant more herbs and flowers. I love how the outside seems to come alive with color after a long winter’s nap.

I like to add a little pop of color to the inside too.

Since I decorate in a neutral pallet, adding touches of color is really easy.

I like to use soft pastel colors and add some blooms to wake up the house.

I’m looking forward to throwing open the windows and enjoying the fresh air although before long, our state will be covered in yellow. The pollen out here is crazy but so worth it when you see how lush and beautiful it is here.
