Feathering Your Nest

Hey Friends! Can you believe that we’re heading into April? I have to admit, I’m freaking out a little. It’s not that I’m not excited for what lies ahead but holy cow I have so much to do in a short amount of time!

As some of you might know, I am going to be a grandma for the first time in June!!! (Jumping up and down) I cannot even express how excited I am! I feel like it’s been a long wait but on the other hand, I feel like it’s happening faster than I realize.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I have soooo much that I want to get done before the baby gets here so I feel like I’m scrambling a bit. I know that I’m not the one carrying the little guy and yet I feel like I’m going into that third trimester nesting phase.

Speaking of nests…I have an obsession with nests. I love the way the mama birds take their time picking out just the right pieces of grass, straw, etc… and weave them into a cozy little place to snuggle their eggs.

I don’t even mind when they nest on my front door decor (every. single. year) and poop all over the place. I don’t have the heart to chase them away after all that hard work they have done.

That being said, there’s something about them that just warms my heart. I love to decorate with them throughout my house especially in the spring.

It’s a reminder of new beginnings…and babies…Did I mention that I was going to be grandma??? Somebody pinch me!

Thanks for stopping by Friends! You mean the world to me!

Love,
