I Just Sheet My Bed
Yep! You read that right. I just got some new sheets for my bed and I had to share! I know that linens aren’t always the most exciting purchase but I really liked these and wanted to let you know in the event that you are in the market for some new sheets too!
I didn’t plan on buying sheets although we were in desperate need of them but I was hoping to get our bedroom painted first. The plan is to paint it a more neutral color so that I could switch up the color of the decor whenever I wanted to. One color that I have been crushing on lately is blush. I think I’m going back to my girlie roots since living with all of my guys for so many years.
Anyhow, I was minding my own business while browsing through my local Home Goods store when suddenly these rascals jumped into my arms.
At least that’s the story I told my husband and I’m sticking to it. I LOVE THIS COLOR! And what’s more, I love these sheets!
I love the ruffled edges on the pillow cases and on the flat sheet. I also love that it has a raw edge on it. It makes it feel relaxed. And did I mention that they are sooooo soft. They’re 100% cotton which are the best sheets in my opinion and fit perfectly on our bed without riding up.
I also purchased this woven blanket from Target earlier this year when it was on clearance. (I know that they have more back in stock in other colors too.)
I love the texture and weight of it as well. It’s not too hot and not too cold which makes for a wonderful layer for the cooler weather. I love a layered bed. It’s soft and cozy.
And lastly… can we talk about those beautiful pillows?
They also jumped into my arms at Home Goods. Apparently they also wanted to come home with me. I actually bought those for my living room because I think I’m going to use that color in my fall scheme this year but for now, I kind of like them on our bed. They’re down filled and came in a twin pack for $24.99. Not bad if I do say so myself.
Okay, that’s all I have for now. Hopefully this will inspire me to get painting. I’m currently looking for the perfect white which is driving me insane but I’ll share more on that soon.
