Look Who Got A Maid

Hello Friends! How’s your New Year going so far? When I think of a new year, I think of organizing and cleaning things. Keep in mind that I said “think” of…I try my best to tackle as much of the house as I can but lets face it, there has been the occasional pine needle found in mid July.

I am by no means a neat freak but I do find great joy and relaxation in having a somewhat tidy house. On the other hand, I also find great joy in having a house full of family and friends. On any given weekend, our home could be filled with as many as a dozen people and three very large dogs because that’s how we roll and that means more to me than a clean house.

(Our big boy, Diesel)

(My Grandpuppy, Olive)

(My parents’ puppy, Daisy, who lives next door and comes to visit daily.)

Living with a house full of guys, I am quite used to dirt and grime. It goes with the territory but after the dust settles (literally) I like for my home to feel clean and tidy.

With that being said, I really wanted some help around the house. After much begging, pleading, bargaining discussion, we decided to get a maid!!! Okay, not really a maid but the next best thing! We got a Eufy Robo Vac 11 Plus!!!

If you haven’t heard of a Eufy, you have no idea what you are missing. It’s a Roomba on a budget!

I love this thing! Where has it been all of my adult life? We bought it from Amazon and it is a dream come true. It does a wonderful job. I was especially surprised at how well it picks up dog hair from around chair legs and from along the baseboards.

It has two brushes on either side of it that wisps hair and debris into the machine. It fits under furniture that my vacuum doesn’t and it even goes smoothly over throw rugs and air vents without getting stuck.

The only thing that drives my OCD a little nuts is the random pattern that it goes in but it covers every square inch of the floor. I have no idea how it does it. The very best thing about it is that I am cleaning my floors at this very minute while writing this post. Talk about multi tasking! Also, when it gets tired (the battery running low) it goes home (to the charging port to recharge its battery.)

It comes with a remote control,  two spare brushes, extra filters and a cleaning tool to clean the machine. You can also order spare brushes and filters when needed. It’s an incredible deal and has high ratings.

And just so you know, this isn’t a sponsored post. I like to share products that I like and think would make someone else happy as well. I loved the idea of a Roomba but I didn’t want to pay the price for it. The Eufy also comes highly recommended. I have to admit, I wasn’t the first guinea pig to use it. My son and daughter in law purchased one first and then my parents did. They had been so pleased with it that I knew I couldn’t do wrong. Now if only I could find a machine that would clean bathrooms…I may even find the time to sit down and have that extra cup of coffee.

If you decide to get one, let me know how you liked it and if you have any other helpful household gadgets or products, please let me know. Good help is so hard to find after all.
