The Greatest of These is Love
Hello Friends! How’s it going? Things are going well on my end. I feel like someone hit the fast forward button on life. I can’t believe that we are already a week into February. Spring will be here before you know it. I love spring!!! Flowers, gardening, sunshine…aaaahhhhh!
Speaking of love…Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I am the luckiest girl in the world! I have certainly been blessed with quite a few Valentines. Of course there is My Guy of 28 plus years. Life with him has always been an adventure and very entertaining nonetheless. His humor is what made me fall in love with him and is probably what I still love most about him.
Then there are my three sons of whom will always be my Valentines. Yes, I know that they have other Valentines in their lives which makes me very happy for them. I wouldn’t want it any other way but they will always have my heart! Heck, they took my youthful body and my dark hair…they might as well have my heart too. I’m kidding of course. I can’t describe the love I have for them. They definitely have their father’s sense of humor and hearts bigger than anyone I know.
Lastly, there is the first guy that I have ever loved…my Dad. I grew up in Illinois and my dad worked in the Chicago area as a bottled water salesman. Every Valentine’s Day, he would bring a box of Fannie May candies to my mom, my three sisters and myself. He really knew how to make a girl feel special. I can’t imagine how long he must have waited in line every year to bring us our very own box of chocolates. Come to think about it, he had a lot of Valentines too.
Love is such a special thing. To me it’s everything!!! It’s the best gift you can give someone and the best gift to receive. As a matter of fact, it’s my all time favorite bible verse too.

I certainly have been blessed with a lot of love in my life and so many people to give love to. I hope each and every one of you feel loved. I do want you to know that I deeply appreciate and love each and every one of you who stop by to read my little part of the blog world. It means so much.
